The trustees of the community forest are delighted to announce a new membership and funding scheme that will allow forest friends and visitors to contribute towards the ongoing maintenance and development of our wonderful community resource. The new scheme uses the Buy Me a Coffee crowd-funding portal to manage one-off or regular membership contributions, with all proceeds (after transaction costs) being invested within the community forest, be that maintenance of the existing path network or the creation of new opportunities/activities for the ColGlen community and our visitors.
Should you wish to become a regular contributor, then we offer a range of membership schemes, starting from £2 per month (Bronze). Each membership level provides a range of benefits (such as access to ranger tours and trees being planted in your name) that will allow members to become more involved in the life of the forest. Gold members (£10 per month) will be invited to an annual BBQ where they can chat to the ranger and trustees about the year just gone and plans for the year ahead.
